I just wanted to ask how long it would take before an acknowledgement email gets sent out (my application got sent to all my unis on the 21st Oct), or does NTU not send any acknowledgement emails at all until you've received an offer?

There has been a slight delay with sending acknowledgement emails this year, but you should receive one this week.

the NTU representative said that they were running a bit behind so I guess they just sent a bulk email to those who have applied so far. :yep:

I've only received one offer so far (Cardiff), what about you? :h:

I sent my ucas off a week ago ish and have three offers, derby, leeds and bishop grosseste uni, waiting on nottingham trent on sheffield hallam :frown:

Its in Lincoln, it's a relatively new university but for employability its ranked fairly high i think and it's specialism / history is in teacher training which is what i wanna do :biggrin:

I actually only got my offer from them today, they sent me a little parcel in the post with a party hat and a balloon and a party whistle thing, it was mega cute :biggrin:

But sheffield hallam and nottingham trent are the uni's i'm most keen on! So not hearing anything off them yet sucks haha!

Congrats! I've also only got one offer which was from Leeds beckett :smile:

Ahh, it's always good to go to a uni which specialises in your subject / area you want to go into.

thank you!! i handed in last wednesday and they sent me an offer this tuesday!
i've applied to royal holloway, exeter and kings college london as well and i got my offers from royal holloway and kings earlier on today :smile:

Thanks, yep I just want to do straight psychology, although I did apply for a four year course at MMU which would also include a year abroad as I'm really interested in travelling!

Wow, they were extremely speedy with their response! And you've applied to such lovely unis haha

I've applied to Cardiff, Swansea, Brunel and Brighton also, for Software Engineering. :h:
