About portsmouth and university

I am Emre and going to study engklish course this november in Portsmouth University. If you have time , i have questions for you ...

First of all, i didnt find any place to live in Portsmouth for 9 months. How can i find any place ? this is most important issue for me. Because i dont know really where can i stay? hall, flat etc.

Secondly, Which part of city is good ? i am asking it because if i have to rent a flat, this information is important for me.

Third, Portsmouth City is suitable for students ? I mean in nightlife, or drinking and some activites are good or bed ?
