chem eng, is it for me??

i have always had it in my head that i am going to do engineering at uni and go on and become an engineer. I took physics for AS but hated the course and ended up dropping it. I now take maths, geog and chem. I dont LOVE chem and am finding it pretty hard this year. I cant decide if i think i would be suited to chem eng. Anyone who is doing a chem eng course, how much like a level chem is it? how well do i need to be doing in chem? are there any decent unis i could do another type of engineering at with just AS physics? (and a C in it at that) Please help!!
