I am going to the Royal Holloway open day in a few weeks - looking forward to seeing the campus! On a side note, my AS grades are not as good as anyone else's in this forum - is this likely due to bias or is Royal Holloway a bit of a stretch for me? Be honest, I need to know xD

Heya :smile: I am hoping to apply for Biology (should be sending off my application tomorrow). I am planning on not living in so just wondered if this will mean I become a total loner? I can't wait for uni as I am on a gap year so also have been seeing all my friends off at freshers etc.

Anyone else applying for biology? :smile:

Nah give it a go-I got BCCD then did better at A2 because I reset 2 papers. I got my offer last spring and got in, so now im on a gap year and am 100% attending 2016! I wasn't sure if I'd even get an offer and now I'm going, so just try!

Hey! I'm applying for Geoscience too, but with a year abroad. When I went to the open day, the dept people said they often accept people below the standard offer and will consider every application. I'm fairly sure your AS's won't be a hindrance. Go for it!

what grades have you got? like how low?
I deffered my offer last year - but ive got my unconditional for RHUL to do bio, and my grades were really low - BCDD... THEN BCC AT A2 And im going - give it a shot, if your PS is good and you interview well then youve got nothing to worry about.

RHUL was my dream uni - i adored it and cried when i got in cos i didnt think i had a chance, but theyre so people based youll be fine

RH is my first choice, and they need minimum AAB - I really hope I get in!
