Is it better to be rich or happy

If you had to choose one or the other what would it be...

If you are rich and not happy, you're doing it wrong.

I would be delirious 24/7.
Rich. Money = comfortable life. I'd rather have a comfortable life than a happy one.
I'd choose happy
Rich as unhappiness is a state of mind. I would get the right support to make me happy.

But if both things are fixed and you can't change. Then happy.
Happiness. You only live once so might as well live it filled with happiness

Assuming being rich restricts me from being happy entirely...

Being rich and sad would mean I may as well be poor and sad. So, I'd choose happy.

If I was rich and could be happy it would be pretty easy to be happy.

That's easy. It's better to be happy.

The reason people want to be rich is because they believe it will make them happy. To a certain extent I think that it can make you happy.

You're presenting them as one or the other though, in which case, I would choose happiness every time. What's the point in being rich if you don't enjoy it?

You can't have both, its forbidden. Don't get greedy.
Like a room without a roof :h:
Happiness always.

I'm not even poor and I'm saying that :cry2:
It all depends.

I know comfort and security makes me happy.

Rather than living a card board cut out, acting like happiness doesn't buy happiness.

At least with money you know your secure enough to support you family and
friends.

You get a sense of pride in knowing that and that in turn can make your life more enriched and bliss.
This is very easy if you happy you are guaranteed to be happy, if you are rich you may well be happy but you may not be so of course happiness.

I would without question sacrifice my happiness for money. Financial security for my family is my number one priority in life, not happiness.
when you are happy, you are really rich
