I suspect that there is a considerable amount of human trafficking in the porn industry.
I think that for every port star who "gets liberated" and becomes a producer or whatever success story, there are 99 others who's lives take a tragic direction.
I think the industry as a whole is shady.
Most of the porn I have seen plays to the sexual arousal caused by some form of degradation. (even if they are only acting they are still pretending to be degraded).
I know that watching porn makes me a worse lover and not a better one.

That is why I have decided to quit watching porn.

No I actually want to be a pornstar. The idea of pon does not repulse me but some of what ppl do in it does, thats an argument for more normal ppl to take control of the industry and sanitize it, raise standards.

Porn is very diverse, you can't make generalisations like that. Black attack gang bang is certainly degrading, but millions of amateur vids are not.

It's a quite difficult question to answer.
On one hand, it's not, because the female is consenting to being filmed and degraded. It's kind of like the restaurant chain Hooters in the US, or the song "Beep" by the Pussycat Dolls. They all consent to having dirty sex. They all consent to being objectified. That's okay.
On the second hand, it is, because while they all, in theory, write the contract and all, it's a movie, and it's media, and that's never portrayed, and the only thing the viewer takes away from it is objectification. It reduces girls to being nothing more than sex crazed meat and the females pleasure is completely ignored, in some types of porn.
It also depends on what type of porn you watch, but it's a highly difficult question to answer.
