LNAT Essay Length

I've got my LNAT coming up and I was wondering how long should my essay be. I know that the website says 500-600 words but I'm not sure if that's actually expected. Normally I write roughly 400 words in the time limit. Would this be too little?

400 might not be enough to fully expand on your points.

I'm assuming you took the LNAT. Is that right? If so, how many words did you write for your essay?

Yes I did it four years ago.

All I'm saying is, if you're working at your maximum capacity, and you can write 400 words and still express and expand on your ideas properly then it should be fine.

The problem is when there is no quality to make up for the lost quantity.
