Urgent question about Nottingham

As you may know, Nottingham uses their own scoring system in deciding whom to call for interview. I've tried calling them and have even sent them mails but they haven't responded yet, so would greatly appreciate an answer here!

They score your top 8 GCSEs for a max of 16 points with an A* being 2 points and an A being 1.

However, my school offered only 6 subjects, in which I got all A*s. That gives me a total of 12/16. So even though, I got all A*s, I automatically lose 4 points according to their system. What I'd like to know is whether there is any provision for this? Or am I doomed for no fault of mine?

Without the 4 points, I probz won't make their cut-off.
