Quitting postgrad and changing careers

Hello

Please help!!!

I started to do a postgrad in nursing funded by my employer but a few weeks after the course started I've been diagnosed with arthritis. I like to go to work, give 110%, be really visible and present on the ward and go home, job well done. With my diagnosis I feel like I can't be that physical at work for 3x 13 hours a week.

I've thought about nursing desk jobs like research nursing or triage but they just aren't me. I've done a lot of research and I would really like to go into law as a solicitor or barrister. That would mean quitting my job and starting a gdl course.

I'm well up for that but would I still need to pay for the year post grad course that I have already commenced given my change in circumstances? I don't want to be cheeky or ungrateful but I don't want to make myself properly unwell doing a job I realistically can't do until I retire.

???? Any advice
