Yeah that's true, but I meant the thread title to imply the best strikers based on their form in England. By your argument you could say Morientes was superb for Madrid and Monaco and Spain, crap in England, but still up there with the best etc.

I don't even remember who Andrea Silenzei is :p:
Nah I meant Klinsmann played in the Prem and was great for the time he was here. It couldn't be helped that Bayern came knocking. Morientes and Weah were great players, but they were crap in the Prem so they don't warrant inclusion. As I say pound for pound (games per goal) he's up there with the best of them at better than 1 in 2. One also has to consuder his impact on the league itself. When Spurs signed him it was a massive coup, as he was an icon (not to mention the impact of his diving celebration lol). He'll go down as one of the all-time great Spurs strikers, even though he was only here for just under 2 seasons.

If Yeboah is there, Klinsmann more than deserves to be there (in terms of games played). Also Klinsmann > Keane :p:

''A member of a select group of players capable of inspiring an entry in The Sun Says by the power of their name alone - Stefan *****, Celta Vigo's Turdo and Sparta Prague's Milan Fukal wait their turn- Dutch winger Pinas survived 12 months in Newcastle's reserves before returning, broken, to Feyenoord.''
hehe, add Celtic's Rafael Scheidt to that list

Took the words right outta my mouth...although the Tiss is a legend n Henry is AMAZING neither can go till 40 consistently scoring 20+ goals each year.
