Central Park Towers

I'm looking at staying at Central Park Towers and want to ask what it's like? The pictures look lovely, but there doesn't seem to be much discussion of it on here. So if anyone has stayed there or is staying there, what's it like being a student there? What's the general standard of the rooms?

Thanks

I'm at Central Park towers this year and it's the nicest place out of any other accommodation, all my friends pay a lot more and get a room half the size of mine and doesn't even have its own kitchen, I love having my privacy abd whenever I need to go socialise the communal area is fun as they have an Xbox one and pool tables and Netflix! Definitely recommend it!

I'm here for the first time this year and I love it! I was in Frobisher last year and while it's nice there I was paying £134 a week for an en-suite. Here I pay £119 a week for a studio (electric capped at £10 a week and everything else included - broadband, water, etc) and the room is so much bigger - I am in a corner room though so not sure how much smaller standard ones are - (the room prices range though depending on what type room you get). It's nice and quiet here and about 10 mins walk from uni and it's near the train station. I love having my own kitchen and I have room for all my equipment/food but know that not all appliances you may want are included. Everything you need is there like oven, hob, washer-dryer, but there is no kettle, toaster or microwave like you would find in halls, so if you want any of those you need to buy your own (I didn't bother with a microwave but you can get a toaster of kettle from Argos for £5 each). Also if you want wi-fi in your room you will need to buy/bring your own router. If you're like me and don't move your laptop around much from your desk you can forget about getting one and just use an ethernet cable. The internet speed is great (at least as far as I've experienced it). If you're thinking about coming here I'd say do what I did and ask for a tour of the rooms (you can call them or just come to the building to book one like I did) - it really helps.
