Advice for subjects?

I am considering going into a Geography/Geophysics/Physics/Geology route in the future. Currently have decided on geography, maths, physics at as. For fourth subject I am thinking of chemistry but my mum says I should persue English. But I'm not sure my heart is in English (I ace English but I'm not interested in it). I'm an a* in Chem but how hard is it? Thanks
Hiya,

Try not to do anything that others want you to do if you don't enjoy it. I especially think this applies at A levels much more than at GCSE level that if you dislike the subject then it is difficult to do well in it because you are expected to read around the subject and build a passion for it. I personally recommend chemistry as it is challenging at first but it is very interesting. From what I had heard from others, even with an A* at GCSE, I thought it was going to be super tricky however, although some of the concepts are a bit confusing at first, a lot of it is just building on GCSE knowledge.
