What grades would I need to maintain atleast a C?

But still how would A-Level maths be useful for that stuff? like what maths topics would be useful


Gaming: linear algebra, mechanics is required to create the physics engines within a game. You'd probably need some calculus as well + discrete maths.

Quant finance: Stochastic calculus, time series transformations, standard algebra and probability to model financial market movement and in the pricing of various financial instruments

Google, FB: large scale data requires statistics, (machine learning), discrete maths, probability, and some algebra for enceyption stuff

Networking does have Maths too, especially if you work for somewhere like GCHQ doing cryptography or designing network infrastructures with graph theory etc.

retake S1. Work hard for A2 and you can get an A. You shouldn't be aiming for anything less than a B.
