Bristol does physiological sciences though - is that what you are applying for (not sure for OB) but yeah

I've also applied for biomedical science which is why i applied for Oxford Brookes. And yeah, I applied for physiological science at Bristol

I sent off my application nearly 2 weeks ago and not heard back yet applied to Swansea, st georges, plymouth, uwe, southampton. Im hoping it wont be too competitive although went to swansea open day yesterday and was told about 30-40 applicants for 3-4 places each year although nhs funds tuition fees so hoping the unis in england are less competitive because its not nhs funded. Whats everyone hoping to do after graduation? Im looking at loccuming for a couple of years to save up and visit different places before settling and being tied down. Then studying further to get higher up those bands! Taking graduate entry into medicine would be good but dont think i could stand an extra 4 or 5 years studying and then more years specialising.

I'm actually still quite torn, but it depends on the course I end up doing, I think Bristol would be my first choice. What about you?

(only asking because I noticed that courses like physiological sciences tend to lean towards research based careers? i.e lab stuff)

I've had 3 offers from UWE, Bristol and Oxford Brookes and an interview for the other course I applied for at UWE

Hey Guys I am a final year at Southampton. So am happy to answer any questions about the course/career.

I also cannot recommend Southampton enough. Not only do they train you (very well) in the essential aspects of becoming a cardiac physiologist but also throw in lots of extras to make you more employable. So for example we spent yesterday in Cardiac theatres and last week had a lectures/practical session from a Clinical perfusionist. Last year everyone that graduated had multiple job offers!
