Sending UCAS application to referee

Hey,

I need to send off my UCAS application to my referee so they can send it off to UCAS, although I don't have any money in my bank account at the moment. I won't be able to get some money for a while and I want to send it off as soon as possible.

At the end when you click submit, you have to enter your bank details, so do UCAS take the money when you press submit or do they wait until the referee sends it off before taking the payment?
