Southampton rejection - track and letters

I recieved my lovely little "Unsuccessful" on Track nearly a month ago but have not recieved a letter from Southampton yet. So everyone else who applied and got rejected-
Did you get a letter, if so, how soon before/after it came up on Track?
Do you know if Southampton send rejection letters? I hear some unis just leave it to Track to save money.
Are there two different rejection letters? I hear some people are being rejected but told they scored highly and should contact them if unplaced in August after results. Is there just a straight rejection letter with no such reassurance? If there are two different rejection letters I'd rather like mine as the first option is slightly preferable to the second!

i got the first one, the rejection, but "you had a high standard, phone us in aug we will reconsider if unplaced " one - came bout a week after track...
