A Question for current Gateway students

hey, i just got my offer thru for the gateway course at RVC. Can any current or past students tell me what sort of things you cover on the course?
in the prospectus it says that students build on knowledge of chem, bio, physics and maths. but what does this mean, what sort of things do you do? how relevant is it to the vetmed course?

im accepting my place regardless of the content in this year, but im just curious what im gona be doin next year

thnkx
I was in Gateway 2005/2006, the course content is as follows:

Animal Husbandry: Both practical and theory, very helpful as it meand in BVetMed when everyone is doing this module (one day a week) you will have already completed nearly all of it so you can go again for revision or use the time to do something else.

Animal Movement

Cell Communication

Comparative Reproduction & Inheritance

Developmental Biology: Very useful foundation to the molecular, cellular and developmental biology unit taught in the first term of BVetMed.

Evolution

Parasites Disease & Immunity: Ties in with a unit in year 3 BVetMed.

I would have been lost if i had not done Gateway first to be honest - well worth while
