I doesn't really matter which you choose as you are able to swap between the two courses at the end of second year (or maybe even well into the third year) If I were you I'd opt for the MSci as its easier to switch from the 4yr course to the 3yr course than the other way around due to the limit on numbers for the fourth year.

Thank you that's something to think about. The entry requirements for the BSc are one grade lower (even though my offer is AAB) so maybe that means if i got ABB there would be more flexibilty with that than there would with the MSci? But im pretty determined to get my predicted grades

Did you ask for a reason about why it's so high?

I presume they are doing it because I failed to meet the entry reqs the first time round. It really sucks though, I was expecting their standard A*AB/AAA offer so I could insure them.

Now, I'll have to wait until Bristol responds - if they give me an AAA offer I'll probably have to insure them instead of Notts. If they don't, I'll just stick with Notts and deal with the fact that my Firm and Insurancre are the same entry reqs.

Hopefully Bristol pulls through in that case - I'm sure they will. My insurance was higher than my firm last year so I'm sure it'll be fine either way in your case considering you'll get the grades required this time!
