I chose a third, alternative way. And voted the Liberal Democrats in May. Sorry but no desire to back the Conservatives again - certainly not as far as I am personally concerned.

Are you aware that failing to deal with issues is a bad thing? So what if the other people are just as bad as you. I made that crystal clear in my post. What percentage of wealth does the top 1% have? An incredible amount.

Don't let that stop you being a condescending prick though. As always on this forum. Some people just deliberately choose to miss the point. Fortunately I'm aware of an ignore list on here for the trolls.

If you got him alone in the pub I think he'd still be pretty serious but also laid back and a quirky kind of jolly.

I get the impression that he's very comfortable and likes who he is however I don't think he enjoys the job as much as he probably expected.

Miliband was a good comparison to him. I felt that he actually loved leading his party and was a bit giddy but lacked the inner calm Cameron has, he gave the impression of being Bambi in the headlights when the going for tough.

I think I've seen his charisma - or at least I saw it when he rekt people in PMQS. :laugh:

A few good things like that don't compensate for other things though.

I mostly hate him for his terrible record on the environment, despite promising to be the "greenest government" ever in the 2010 election campaign. That, and being far too close to big business. And ruthlessly going after trade unions and their funding of Labour, while not saying a word on the corporate interests who fund the Conservative party.

Then you have the ridiculous things like the porn blocker and wanting to ban encryption.

Do you know that the top 1% contribute proportionally more to the Exchequer than they ever have? Do you also know that income inequality has hardly changed over the years? I was only asking two questions, and your answering them shouldn't involve asking different questions of me. Incidentally, I know the two point you make are true. All I aim to do is point you to evidence you completely missed out in your initial argument because they're damaging to your case.

Well in 2010 we were coming out of reccession, then followed several budgets with fairly heavy austerity which saw our economy drop again, the Conservatives reduced the amount of austerity and we have edged closer to recovery. My point being we are almost at full recovery now but with better management we could've been ther a few years earlier.

Well it is fact though debt levels were lower than now and the economy was growing but your poor tory mind can't take that. Also the recession was all thanks to Labour, sure there was no global banking crisis :rollleyes:
