Student loans for studying abroad

Hello everyone,

I'm looking for some clarification on some issues and was hoping someone might be able to help.

I'm lead to believe that if I get a student loan in the UK then I'll need to pursue studies in the UK.

A few people have mentioned to me that if a UK university has a site in another country then I may be able to enroll and use a UK student loan, is this correct?

Also, is anyone aware of other personal student loans that can be obtained by UK citizens wishing to study abroad.

Any information is appreciated.
Are you talking about ERASMUS which is the study abroad exhange programme? You enrol on a course in the UK and in your third year, you study abroad. You then return and do a fourth year in the UK.

I wasn't talking about the specifically. Although, this is an option if I can't enroll directly in a foreign university
