:confused: hi please can someone help me!
ne1 whos doin biology a2 aqa coursework.
i need to write down why i chose the mann whitney u test for my statistical analysis and also reasons why i dint choose any others! also how can i link my results to anaerobic respiration.

I am dusting off memories from over 6 years ago, but I think the Mann Whitney test is used for comparison of two treatments, and in which the data you obtained is not normally distributed. The alternative test is the students t test, but this can only be used with normally distributed data.

I can't remember much more than that as i've been using other statistical methods in my degree and haven't touched these since A-level.
