How to simplify this indices?

you can cancel out the 2x in the brackets, leaving you (16/25)^1/2 which equals to sqrt (16/25), then apply your indices rules to give sqrt 16 divided by sqrt 25, to give 4 divided by 5

1/2 power is the same as square rooting the whole thing as it is in brackets. so √2√x√16 / √2√x√25
√16 = 4 √25= 5 and √2√x over √2√x cancel out so the answer is 4/5.
