Let alone predicted my actual As chemistry was a D when I applied, I got 3 / 4 offers, and have pulled it to 20 ish marks off A.

I'd been a straight A* student up until the end of yr11, then it dropped to straight As and a few A*s (aaand a C in ICT, hehehe, but our ICT dept. is a FARCE) then suddenly AS was an enormous leap and I don't think I quite got it right to be honest. Then at Vetsix we got tales every so often about some students getting in without straight As, then you come here and realise that people are selected on their personal merits and how good a vet they'll actually BE at the end of the day too. Which is just awesome.
