Quadratic equations from equilibrium

Hi, I was wondering if anyone could help explain how to form a quadratic equation from an equilibrium?
The question is:
Determine a quadratic equation in x, in terms of parameters Kc, a0 and b0
for the reaction
A+B --> 2AB where: (A=a0-x) (B=b0-x) (2AB= 2x)
and Kc = [AB]2 / [A]

I don't understand how to do it...
