Can anyone help me with translation and transcription? I do not understand at all

^ This'll help if you don't understand, I would explain it, buuuuuuuuut I need to go over it myself.
I think transcription is when mRNA moves a complementary base sequence of a template (segment, called a transciption unit) of DNA out of the nucleus (through nuclear pores) to the ribosome. Translation is when tRNA (which has an amino acid) goes to the template which is attached to the ribosome and reads off it to produce amino acid chains to make a sequence for a protein.
