How much CoCl2.6H20 solid to make a 1M solution

Okay so I need to make 500cm^3 of 1mol dm^-3 of cobalt chloride solution, how would i go about doing this? The mr of CoCl2.6H20 is 237.93, does this mean that i will need to dissolve 118.97 grams in 500ml of water to make it 1mol dm^-3?

If you want to make sure you're correct, you could use these two formulas:
Moles=Mass/Molar Mass=Volume*Concentration
