What was the question? I can't really remember it properly.(Original post by chud)
How was it for you?
I thought it was pretty good..not that many extremely hard questions....
Any1 know the height the that the golf ball reached? i made it 33.1m but others reckon 11m
Thanks.
I have a vauge memory that the initial vertical velocity was 17sin60 - Is that right?
So:
v=u+at
0=17sin60-9.8t
t=17sin60/9.8
t=1.5 seconds
s=ut+0.5at^2
s=17sin60*1.5-4.9*1.5^2
s=11.06 meters
I remember that's the answer I got now. -
yeh, thats right. i havent done mechanics like that for over 1 yr..so i made a simple error (not make grav -ve)...i think it was worth 3 marks...i rekcon i got 1/3 of them put getting equation correct.(Original post by DivideByZero)
