Living in Surrey

I received an offer study Economics at Surrey today and I'm leaning towards making it my firm. I've heard that Surrey is one of the more expensive places to live in the UK and was wondering, do students in Surrey notice that or not?

I love in Surrey and it has never really seemed that expensive, it is only really the accommodation, because the land and rent here is more expensive. But if you live in halls, if will be the price that they publish, if you were thinking of private rent, you are looking at around £800/month for a one bed flat, just on average. It is truley a lovely pace to live though. The local nightclub in Gford isn't that expensive either, its about £7 for entry, and then about £4 for a drink.
