Bristol or Bath? (Economics)

Which uni is better for trying to get a job in investment banking? Or working in finance in London?

For investment banking, you should ask in the investment banking forum -- although it is important to note that most people posting there are still A-Level/university students themselves, and so are unlikely to know with any certainty / reality what the actual situation is.

As for finance in London more generally? You see equal amounts of both. It will depend far more on how well you do in your actual degree.

Also, let's not forget that asking a question like this presupposes that everyone - or at least equal amounts of people - at both Bath and Bristol want to go into finance. There will undoubtedly be a skew due to different sizes in each university's student cohort and people self-selecting out of finance. (Not everyone wants to work the long hours.)

Neither are the very very best for getting jobs in IB, but both are still reputable. Bath is better (not by a huge amount) for an Economics degree, but Bristol is arguably a more interesting place to live.
