Depriving an individual of a degree

when should a degree be revoked/deprived?

Is the revocation/deprivation of a degree on 'good cause' only limited to achieving it through deceit/cheating or can it be due to other factors such as the reputation you gain after you obtain the degree,criminal convictions , voicing opinions which may be deemed politically incorrect e.g. anything considered to be sexist etc?

If it is not limited to just achieving the degree through deceit/cheating, would you agree with it being limited to those factors only?
Deceit/cheating only. That is the only grounds for deeming a person's achievement as dishonest and therefore revoking any certification. Whatever else they do afterwards is irrelevant; they still acquired the degree fairly and it would be up to the employers to decide if their actions warrant their exclusion etc.
