Same here, haven't heard anything for 4 months. I think it's because I'm an international student... has any international student got their Mech offer?
finally got a reply after 3 months. I got rejected :/ I'm an international student from Malaysia doing Cambridge A Levels with a predicted A*A*A*A. Looks like it's the PS that makes or breaks the application.
Same here, haven't heard back from them at all and I guess I'm considered international too, have you heard back yet? Does anyone know when they should reply?

Hi Everyone,

I'm a third year Mechanical Engineer at imperial, I'd be happy to help with any questions you guys have!

As far as interviews go, the question depends on your interviewer! They will most likely ask you something related to the field of their research and will have a deep passion for it, something you will need to try and show too!

My interviewer specialised in biomechanics, something I now want to study further, and had shown me a replacement elbow joint asking me to describe it. I had no idea, but I tried to use my current knowledge to work out whatever i could - think out loud! - beginning by eliminating elements from the periodic table, so on and so forth.

Show enthusiasm and a creative approach to problem solving - it's what Engineers do and it is what they will look for!

Remember there are numerous research fields at Imperial, so the question I got is probably one of hundreds asked. Prepare your approach to answering questions more than anything.

I hope this helps! And Goodluck!

Hi there! I got accepted into the course and now I'm wondering what kind of laptop I would need, I have been recommended a macbook pro because it is powerful and can run CAD software but realistically will we not only need the laptop to type documents and there will be desktop computers provided that already have CAD Software? Also I have an upcoming IMECHE undergraduate scholarship interview coming up have you had any experience with these?

Many thanks!!!
