Yeah, I went to an open day on this beautiful summers day, walking down towards the engine shed, I just wish it was September already :biggrin: sadly i have to wait for my other choices to reply before I accept the offer :frown:
Im lookin to study Animation at Lincoln. And im just wondering if they focus on your portfolio when considering giving you an unconditional offer. I'm currently setting mine up online and making a demo reel and im thinking about what they might be looking for in the interview.

Congratulations! I have an offer for psychology with clinical psychology 😊
I love lincoln ! The setting is lovely and the city is great. The uni is relatively new and seems fab. It has great facilities (only really looked at the labs for psychology tho). Everyone i met, students and staff, seemed really nice. Cant really tell you much more then that, only went to one open day ☺

I went up recently for the open day and absolutely loved it, facilities are fantastic and everybody is really enthusiastic and friendly. The campus is still being developed with a new lecture hall and loads of other stuff, and as others have said, the city is great and you can walk to pretty much anywhere!

Have a look at Minster House when you go, it's got specialist facilities for animal behaviour- if you do psychology at the moment, they have Skinner boxes for studying perception in dogs :biggrin:

Hey!

I got an unconditional offer for this course a few weeks ago so i can give a bit of advice! In my portfolio I had quite a few 3D models, some nude life drawings, character designs and lots of photography including my sketch books from A level!

The interview is pretty relaxed and you get another tour of the facilities if you didn't go to an open day previously (or if you did and want another look). They go through the portfolio without you in the room so its honestly fine. The lecturers are lovely too so its easy to talk to them about what you like, how you feel about the course and you work etc.

Also, you can withdraw your application to everywhere else if you want to firm it sooner, thats what i did anyway <3
