Electric field question.

Figure 2 shows to parallel metal plates, 44m apart, which have a pd of 11-V applied across them, with an electron between them.

(i) the electric field strength between them.
I just used E=V/D and got 190/44x10^-3=2500Vm^-1 or NC^-1

(ii) the magnitude of the force on the electron when it is between the plates.
F=EQ 2500x1.6x10^-19=4x10^-16N

(ii) the kinetic energy in J that is gained by the electron when it starts from rest at one plate and crosses to the other plate.

I understand Ek gained must be equal to Ep lost but i'm not quite sure what to do next.
Thanks :smile:
