But where do I get one from?

I've looked in the local news paper but there aren't any cocker spaniels and all the breeding sites on Google are rubbish

Is there like a big site where people advertise pets, kinda like eBay but without the auctions?

Kennel club list (122 registered litters available atm, so you should be able to find one in your area!) or check out your local rescue centres, that's where my friend's family got their spaniel

often in your local newspaper you'll find some listings in the classfied section.

Just looked and there are a few spaniel breeders in the South West according the KC. Might have to contact them and see if/when they have any

Even if their current litters have all been sold, they may put you on a waiting list for the next one if you ask nicely.

no problem. I would stick with kennel club breeders- that way you are more likely to get a decent breeder etc.

Cocker spaniels - a fine choice.

Anyway, usually you'll get the best information from recommendations from other doggy people. If that's at all possible in your position, I'd advise it. Other than that, the Kennel Club are the ones to trust.

There's a little pet shop round here that has sold them before so I imagine the bigger ones (pets at home etc) will sell them too.

Ive never seen them in a pet shop either. Have a look in your local Ad Mag ...you will probably find quite a few in there.
