Motoring Offence and CRB Checks

Hi,

Last June I was convicted of dangerous driving and handed an 18 month disqualification, which is due to expire on 24 December this year.

I am currently in my job via a recruitment agency and I now have to fill out information to move over to a permanent contract with the company. It is asking for any unspent criminal convictions which I have previously denied I had as I didn't think a driving offence was classed as a criminal offence.

I am worried about what information will show up when running a CRB check and if I will lose my job because of me failing to mention this previously.

Can someone please shed some light on this for me? I am panicking here :frown:

Edit: I was 17 at the time and I am now 19

SP30 and other minor offences don't really matter. Being disqualified is a bit more serious, but it depends what kind of job you're going for. Not being upfront from the beginning will probably be more of an issue than the conviction itself.

I'm no expert though.
