How old are you, and when did you start?

18 always 18

But seriously 17.

Start of AS, although a LOT less then, like once a month omg.

Increased rapidly through A2 year.

Haha, I see, that's how I started, was about a year ago when I did the occasional one every month or few months, only just started becoming more regular in the last few months as ****'s happened and life's gotten more stressful. Was and still is a conscious decision though, far from an addiction, and I'm determined to cap it at where it is now. It's funny, when my auntie - a pretty addicted smoker with asthma - first found out I'd started, and had gotten over the shock , she wrote me a little contract to sign on the back of an envelope where I agreed not to smoke more than 3 a day at any one time, and that if I ever broke it, I'd have to pay her a set amount of money a month. So, if there's no other incentive not to smoke stupid amounts, there's always that.

No, the smell is revolting. I pass young smokers on a daily basis and I often wonder what on earth they are doing?

I see, I have had 2 in one day twice, but nothing more than that. Thankfully atm no-one apart from friends @ col know I smoke :teehee:

I don't any more, but I was a heavy smoker for all of my teens, as an 'ex-smoker' I can't believe I ever touched them. The SMELL is so potent, it takes my breath away and I once smelt like that! I tried it when I was about 15, then I became addicted to the nicotine, I felt like I needed the tobacco, I craved it so so badly and I didn't think I could ever kick that desperate craving!

I often wonder if the smokers realise how bad it smells? Some of the people I pass here on my corridor smell absolutely revolting! I can't help but block my nose when I pass them!

I assume cambridge right?

Have you thought about which modules you want to do;

i.e. maths, chem, bio cells, physics etc.

Well yeah hopefully given that my interviews go well
And hopefully physics (specialising down to Astro) with maths and cell bio if possible. Maybe inorganic Chem, depends how many modules I can pick really.

What are your reasons?

Love your avatar.
My favourite character ever :colondollar:

And to answer the question, it is a no.

Aha awesome gl

I have covered cosmology in physics not sure how similar that is.

Do you do a level chem?

If so have you covered proton nmr, fuel cells, titration curves etc.

Yeah cosmology is what I'm most interested in!

I do, and yeah just finished titration curves but not done the other ones, they don't ring a bell!

Been smoking 25 a day for about 2 years, can't really say it's addicting I just really enjoy it. Not any reason to it to be honest.

If you smoke 25 a day, how would you know whether or not you're addicted.

P.s. that must be expensive as hell, I would smoke 20 a day and it cost about £300 a month

Good point.
