Same, but try not to worry too much - we're all in the same boat, and sounds as though people do largely enjoy it

I just keep going through my revision notes: Current Affairs, IOT, Trade Training.
Mixture of SDT tests and planning exercises to keep me distracted from worrying. What're you most concerned about?

Me too! What depth do you know IOT and Specialist Training? Individual Planning Exercise definitely - doesn't seem like much fun :frown: comforted that SDT looks ok in the practice one.

My specialist training is 10 weeks long and theres not a lot I need to know about it. IOT I'm most nervous about because i've learn the basics of each term.

Term one: Drill, PT, Ground Defence training, Air Power. Then leadership development and an expedition/adventure training exercise.

Term two: Command management, military air leadership, RAF ethos and culture, roles and service then a battlefront exercise.

Term three: Is in three parts Basic Air Warfare, Job shadowing and Adventure Training then finally the Combat ops centre.

Thats all I know and can remember off the top of my head and I'm worried thats not enough.

Fair enough. Mine's 22 weeks, but there's not much to go on. That's pretty much what I know - collated it off of the threads on here, so hopefully it should be ok for us.

I'm an Air Cadet so I hope that gives me an advantage! Where abouts are you coming from?
Hi
I'm in my first year of sixth form and I am going to apply for officer pilot when I finish sixth form. Great info on this thread so thanks! Has anybody here applied recently or going to apply specifically for pilot? Out of the people who have attended oasc, did you get in?
If not, and you are re applying what are you doing in terms of prep? And also the first essay on Oasc was brilliant! Has anybody else been recently and if so is there anything to add in terms of info to the first essay on oasc? I have been writing and posting on another thread RAF pilot/oasc and I was just looking for any other recent threads on oasc and selection.
Thanks very much
