Hey guys, can I ask, what kind of results did you have when you applied for the programme? Also what are your gre/GMAT scores?

Hey! Just wanted to ask what are my chances to get into MPhil Finance:
1) Studying BSc Mathematics with Statistics at Rhul. Third year - 3 out of 8 courses are on financial markets, finance. Got 76% for my second year.
2) Worked for Glencore as an analyst for summer placement.

Amatydam, did not see you mention your first year. If they asked you to submit your first year result and you scored over 80, then it is a good sign. If they did not ask for your first year details, then I suggest you should have a plan B.

Honestly, with Mphil Finance, average 76 is not something ... you know.

Wow that's awesome - really impressive. You def going to go to Cam then or you applied anywhere else?

I've applied just for the MPhil in Finance.
Third year Maths at a decent uni with 78% average and internships at BAML, as well as two summers in an asset management firm. I wonder how important these references really are...

Thank you! I also got offers from MSc Finance at LSE and Imperial but I think I will go to Cambridge. Cheaper
and better brand name in my opinion!

Sounds like a strong profile! and yes it's hard to know..

I've gotten into LSE already, but for Applicable Mathematics.

Also applied to MSc Finance at Imperial last week - how long did it take to hear back? Not sure if it's worth the £32,000 price tag though...
