Reaction Rate Past Paper Question

Vitamin C in bottled apple juice decomposes in a first order process with a rate constantof 0.030 days–1at 20 °C.(a) If there is initially 290 mg L–1vitamin C, how much will be left(i) after 7 days?(ii) after 14 days?[4](b) Calculate the initial rate of decomposition and the rates at 7 and 14 days.

I don't know where to start because i don't know what the value 290 actually is, ie. concentration or what, so wouldn't know how to plug it into an equation, any help would be great thanks!

First order kinetics

Rate = k[A]

You are told that k = 0.03 d-1

You also know that the initial concentration = 290 mg dm-3

Do you know the integrated form of the rate equation?
