No, this is stupid. There are plenty of wealthy "lefties" out there.
Our convictions cannot be bought
Nope.
I would take the money, become leftwing and give it all to Hilrho. :h:
Can they give me that money for already being right?

I wanted to answer this but I was too busy supervising the installation of a glass ceiling while the help was pulling up a ladder behind me.

Being serious, if I ever had 10bn I'd start giving it to something like the Gates foundation but for Brits rather than Africans.
No? Money isn't going to change anyones beliefs. You can say you are right wing in order to get the money but the chances, in my opinion of your actual political views shifting because of that bribe, are slim.
For about a minute, I was sitting there wondering what being left handed had to do with anything...

I don't even know what the difference between the wings or what wing I am.
But would take the money because I doubt anything I'll do could co tribute to any of the wings.
Nope, with the money I'd set up a business and pay my tax.

According to right wingers, there are two types of lefties

- those who don't have money but would become right wing if they did
- those who are wealthy and are thus 'champagne socialists'

I will always be the same person with the same political beliefs whether I have 1 pound, a million pounds or 100 million pounds.

I guess it's hard for heartless and non empathetic people to believe that there are people who are not as selfish as they are.
A million pounds can't buy you a smarter brain.

I wouldn't ever really 'turn' right wing... i'd always hold the same values?
Given the fact that a large portion of Guardian readers are wealthy North Londoners, this is a strange question.
No I wouldn't. :nah: Next question.
By virtue of having more money?

Errr... no.
Of course they would. They would have money and use it up travelling or shopping. All those worries for the poor would soon disappear along with their support for the politics of jealousy.

lol no. Although I feel like I don't know what "lefties" encompasses anymore
No. One's political beliefs are a fundamentally moral question, and morals do not change based on personal circumstances beyond an incredibly banal sense of what one should do in certain situations.
