Application Submitted but has been

Hi,
I've submitted my application few days ago,but just after a couple of days,the admission office redirected my application to another course.
This what does it means?
I will be automatically entered in this other course?
or it is still everything to decide?
Any previous experience?

Thank you for your answer!
However I didn't want to speed up things in a negative way!
Also because is it known how slow are the admission procedures at the Edinburgh Uni.
So, I simply wanted to find this info here inside a student forum, from someone who got the first-hand experience or a similar knowledge from some friends. :smile:
