Yes, you are right PrincessZara, but it's a family holiday, so you celebrate it with your family.
But I got to say , from all the holidays in the world , it's one of the coolest, with the presents and everything.
And don't your parents buy the decorations?.
Save money so you can buy a present .

How much are you going to spend ?.
£100 maybe

Like £30 on each of my parents, £20 on my sister, £10 on cards and stuff, then I'll just buy a round of drinks for my friends once exams are over

Are you going to refuse any presents that you may or may not receive?
However much I can afford. Since I have good budgeting skills I have managed to be able to spend between £300-400 this year to get presents for my whole family.

Why?.
It's a cool holiday, and I not even christian ( I am an atheist).
Depends how much I can afford, don't have a job at present so I'm having to try and limit myself a bit to around £75 (of which £25 is going to one person).

Last year I spent in the region of £120 or so.
Way too much...

But nowhere near as much as will be spent on me :u: :mmm:

oh cause family reason typa thingy
Aiming to spend a bit less this year due to going a bit overboard last time, so about...

£60-80 on Partner (before we'd do significantly more at times, but we've agreed to lower it to due to saving for a deposit)

£40-50 on Parents

£20-30 on Step Dad

There's a few other people to buy for, which will be around £10-20.

I have 8 siblings, and I'm an auntie to 8 (almost 9!!) two of my brothers are married as well, so they're wives need presents too. Plus all my friends... maybe about £600- £700..
