Which university is the better choice for my course?

I hope to either study psychology or human and social sciences in one of these choices: The University of South Wales, Cardiff Metropolitan, UWE or Uni of Cardiff.
I have now received offers from all, and have no clue where to go, all offers seem good to me.
Which university is the best and for what reasons? EG does anyone know what the courses are like, the halls and the nightlife etc? Also are any of the above uni's dreadful?!

In terms of reputation (i.e. how it with look on your CV) Cardiff is 100% the superior choice. Ask around, look at the research outcomes, check league tables - they will all tell you that.

I'll try not to be too biased in everything else I say, considering that I went to Cardiff uni.... I can't tell you too much about UWE but between the three Cardiff ones I'd say no to USW based on location - Psychology (not sure about the others but you can check) is based in the campus that isn't in the city centre = long journeys for nights out and shopping etc in Cardiff :frown:

Cardiff uni and Cardiff Met have better locations. Met students will tell you that they have the better nightlife (less studious, more crazy parties) but Cardiff students (like me!) will say Cardiff gets the better grades/jobs/experience.

So obviously my advice is Cardiff uni.... but hey we all knew I'd be completely biased :P

(Also I did Psych at Cardiff so feel free to throw any psych-specific questions my way)

UWE Bristol

. When I was a student here, I stayed in Frenchay campus' Student Village. I really enjoyed it because I got to meet loads of different
people from various courses. I stayed in a flat with five other students. It was easy to make friends because we were all in the same boat, being new to Bristol and all. Bristol is an exciting city to live in with loads of different attractions – my favourites are the Bristol Zoo and the Aquarium. I have really enjoyed the different music scenes and the harbourside too.

There’s a new Students’ Union which organises events for students to socialise especially during Freshers’ Week, so you wouldn’t have a problem with nightlife.

Lol, how can you even compare them? Cardiff all the way! It's a Russell group uni and one of the best in the world, definitely best in Wales. Don't for a second think of going to USW and Cardiff Met. Cardiff students would consider you to be dumb if you go there. UWE is a good uni as well.
So if you ask me, I'd suggest you:
1. Cardiff uni
2. UWE
3. USW
4. Cardiff Met
