Does studying IT reduce your chances of getting laid?

Will studying IT ruin your chances of getting laid?

I mean for guys the anecdotel evidence seems to suggest studying IT really screws up your chances of getting with women. So one to avoid because of this?
I don't think it's the subject as such but there tends to be a stereotype of what people look like who study IT.

If you had to worry about this, then I'm afraid to say that you won't ever be getting laid. Sorry OP, but grow up.

I study computer science, and yet everyone I speak to assumes I'm doing politics, history or philosophy, so I don't really buy the idea that people can tell what you study just by looking at you.

It is you, not your subject, which will affect your chances of "getting laid".
Haha, I am planning to study computing at University and i'm a girl. I think it wouldn't put any girls off, and if it did then they're shallow as ****. Personally, i think guy who is intelligent is a winner.
