Connecting TV to iPod Dock?

Hi there,

I'm looking to get my TV audio to play through my iPod docking station. I have a smart Samsung tv and a Phillips iPod dock that is a few years old.

The dock has an 'AUX in' port and my TV has many ports. What connection should I be looking to buy to make this happen?

Cheers

Your TV should have RCA outputs for stereo audio, pick up a dual RCA to 3.5mm cable and connect the corresponding plugs at your TV and plug the 3.5mm jack into the dock's aux input. Alternatively if your TV has a headphone jack you can just use a standard aux cable to connect them together if you already have one lying around, but doing it via the RCA connections is ideal.
