As they don't fall under the direct control of the Turkish military, it is incorrect of you to state that Turkey breached the Geneva Conventions.

The Geneva Convention is relating to anybody participating in war

Given the shambles that the EU is in I'm surprised they even want to join.

I don't know. Why didn't the Masai send 14 cows to the French like they offered to America after 9/11?

What an asinine response.

Actually, they regularly do that to protest against Terrorism. It is a cultural thing.

The Turkey football fans booed and chanted "allahu akbar" during the minute's silence. You think that's a protest AGAINST terrorism? Surely not.

As I have reiterated already, Turkey had no part to play in the Turkmen shooting at the pilots.

Seemed to be a rather fitting response to a tangential point.

Come on, Shady - stick to the Russians, Turks will never allow you to exist.

I am Russian myself. Russia was always friendly and never confronting you.

We respect Russians. ( Heavily) . Really looking forward to seeing what Putin will do to Erdogan and his Ego after the jet incident.

Depending on the source that one uses, Kurds make up anything between 10-30% of the Turkish population.

Either way. Its a significant chunk that cannot be overlooked.
No. They hate Westerners, even the police target Westerners. Some Turks started a fight with a boxer over a knocked over water bottle, plenty of UK nationals get stabbed in Turkey, it's suicide. Fortunately all EU members must approve before Turkey join and I'm 100% sure that Russia will say no.

I'd much rather have Russia in the EU than Turkey simply because Russia are free to bomb Syria and Turkey have done **** all about Syria as well. I don't care whether you claim it's the minority because ISIS were a so called minority now they are highly influential in North Africa, Middle East and Indonesia

I hate to have to tell you this but Russia isn't in the EU.

And that is indeed unfortunate.

I didn't say that they should be overlooked. I simply queried why you chose to put 30% instead of say, 10% or 15.4% or 17.8%.
