I want to leave Islam but..

You say Islam promotes inequality, let me say something in Christianity Timothy 2:12 "I do not permit a woman to teach or to assume authority over a man;she must be quiet." < seriously ??
Fam the bible promotes slavery,terrorism,death to all same sex couples and so forth lets not paint Islam with a bad brush.

I'm sick and tired of how intolerant this religion is,
Even though im not gay myself, I don't see the problem with it- my whole family is homophobic and it sickens me,
And traditional gender roles are a load of rubbish- why do females have to listen to everything males say? Why can't females travel alone? Why is it when boys are born- the amount distributed is larger than when girls are born? I know lots of you will say it's culture not religion- but this is all in the religious texts and holy books ..
The problem is I do not have the guts to leave, my parents will disown me, most likely my friends will too and I'll be the talk of the town
So yeah I'll be stuck with this

Homosexuality is natural.. If they're created this way what else can they do? They're not attracted to people of the opposite gender, they were made that way!
Also, STD and HIV can also spread through normal couples too
if condoms etc are used this can be prevented.
Homosexuals don't have control over who they're attracted too? So should they just live a miserable life and never be with the person they want to?
I've hard this argument with my brother before, and he said it's unnatural and influenced by media etc
But if that's true, why do homosexual animals exist? Are they influenced by the media too?
No it's just a normal thing, that some people aren't attracted to the opposite sex
I myself am not homosexual, but I don't see why people that are homosexual should be prevented from who they want to spend their life with..

You're condemning homosexuals/bisexuals etc. for living their lives when really it's nothing to do with you. You say 'why would you harm your body' like homosexual acts are inherently bad, I was just pointing out the hypocrisy of that statement.

First of all nobody is born gay as of the man who made this so called reasonable hypothesis was gay himself.And being gay is transmitted through the environment they live in and the way the individual is socialised and to over come this, one has to worship Allah to softer there hearts.Gradually they will be no longer gay as I know people this has happened to.And if animals do such inappropriate acts then sure it's ok for humans to do so right?.And yes transmitted diseases does happen through heterosexual relationships but in comparison to homosexual relationships it's not 6x as likely to occur.Overcoming the desire is a struggle one has to over come.Allah is witnessing this and of course as far as the individual abstains away from the act then they shall be fine.

So because Christianity is bad, suddenly all criticisms of Islam are lifted?

It's just my perspective it's proven by science there is a higher chance in transmitting sexual diseases so why would you personally put yourself through that?.Its a logical question which needs an answer, if something has risk attached to it shouldn't you restrain away from it?

There are people who choose to be gay and they've changed their sexuality

I'm guessing you never get in a car, then, given the risk of serious injury or death? Or take medicine, given the risk of allergic reaction?

But the fact is that there is simply no reputable scientific evidence that anyone is born gay.Let's not lie to ourselves, what u mean "science" I'm sorry your lies doesn't prove anything.
