Are you sure this is B2? I haven't come across a question like that before. My assumption would be something to do with diffusion within cells. *update- it might be something to do with the amount of food in the stomach, and muscles tighten/flatten based on amount of food?

I'm guessing you'd say that the muscle cells contract and relax, digesting the food in the stomach. They need energy in the form of ATP do to this. Mitochondria synthesise ATP. (Don't know if you've been taught about ATP yet so just say mitochondria are a source of energy). Hope I helped!
