Who was most responsible for causing the world war 1

Haha, that's a good question. Probably not the answer you were looking for though, so I'll expand a little. :wink:

I'm guessing that you are aware that there were a lot of causes. For a start, Europe was already growing increasingly tense. You have possibly seen this cartoon, which gives us a good representation of what the state of Europe was like at the time. If you are simply interested, then my answer is, put simply: nobody was. Everyone who played a part in causing the War had their own importance, and it is like asking which fruit is most important in a fruit salad: some are more important than others, but none are actually the most important. If you are asking this because you've been given an assignment related to the question, I would advise that you bring in some of the more important ppl, and choose one of them for your answer. However, the real answer is none of them :smile:
