Edexcel Maths: M1 help

I have a inclined planes that I cannot do.
I have the perpendicular equation as TsinY = -5 + 10cos30.
And the parallel as TcosY = 10sin30 + 7.
How do I find T and Y?

You can divide both equation, I'm assuming you know that sin(y) divided by cos(y) is equal to tan(y).
You can work out the rest using trig.

You could square them and add them ... then use a well-know trig identity to find T.
In the future, please post this in the maths forum.
